Birthday Blues ’06

It’ll be exactly a week until my 26th birthday. And I’m sitting here, quarter to six in the morning at work, wondering about things that I want for my day but I know I definitely cannot have. Birthday’s suck.

Hey Bro,

The days since my 26th birthday have come and gone. I hope that by the time your day gets here, you will be filled with more pleasant and uplifting thoughts. It helps me to remember that God has me here for many reasons, so I will be happy about celebrating this milestone in my life. Many of my friends did not make it to see the time that I have on this earth. It makes me grateful and humble at the same time. So, Happy Birthday, Frat. You deserve all the happiness that you can stand. Peace.
