Patrick Kahozi, IIII

Just a little something I put together. See it here on the KPsiK site
I am back home. I enjoy seeing the Phamily, despite all the drama involved with getting to South Carolina. On the way back, I thought about the growth of my organization and how truly beautiful it is. And somewhere between Asheville NC and Louisville KY I wrote this:
A man of esteem and class is what I chose to uphold
With the strength and the courage of that baby blue and gold
I walk the path and cross the sands that others have tried
Following my calling, surpassing the fallen, lost to the wayside
Nothing can stop my journey, I will see this unfold
For the prize I seek is certain, that baby blue and gold
Even when I am weary and about to fall to my knees
Apollo’s grace will keep on going for this I believe
With my cane in my hand, to steady my step that was not easily strolled
I have made the glorious journey to the land of that baby blue and gold
This is for all my brothers, active, inactive, those who are no longer with us and those who have yet to join us.

… to a mess. I throughly enjoyed my trip to Orlando, I already miss the Pham already. Its a shame that I had to return to a myriad of personal problems.
First it was hotter in Chicago than it was in Orlando. Second my house was burgled, fortunately not a lot of things were taken just some very personal affects like my black Phillies cap, my Nextel from work, my Playstation 2, my Kill Bill Vol. 1 DVD and that special tape that was in my sock drawer. I guess I can never be famous while something coming back to haunt me. And third my AC is fucked up cuz the bastards forced it in my window to get into my house and put a hole in my wall. And everyone is sold out of window AC units. I can wait til Autumn.

The last few weeks have been fairly hectic with the six week shutdown at work and the massive clean up effort that ended before it really started, still doing more shit at home and trying to work everything out financial and mentally for the Tau Kappa Phi Inc. National Conclave 2006. Anyway, I can’t wait to see the ‘Pham.’
BTW, I’m not moving back to Philly, I’m just going back for a weekend. Sorry to everyone who thought otherwise.
Just wanted to say that I’m back from South Carolina.
You’re going to have to excuse my absence, but I’ve been uber busy with this house for the last week. I’ve been doing so much work in that place, that I really don’t want to be bother with it anymore, but it will all pay off at some point… soon hopefully. I did take some shots before I got to painting, they’re up on Flickr.
Another reason why I haven’t been around this week is that I’m taking a road trip on Thursday down to East Bumblefuck Columbia, South Carolina. The Kappa Psi Kappa Spring Retreat is this weekend and to be honest, I really need to get away from Chicago, its fickle-ass weather and the job for a few days. Hopefully after ten hours in a sedan with three of my frat brothers will do me some good(if I don’t have to kill them and dispose of their bodies in the backwoods of Tennessee). Be back next Tuesday.
