Well it’s about 4 AM and two days before Christmas (Bah Humbug), and I figure I could update this little site. In a failed attempt to live live I’ve been uploading videos to various lifecast sites since Apple release the flood gates and allowed video streaming on older iPhones.
At first I tried to use Ustrem and while both the iPhone and webcam stream options are great I wasn’t too fond of the site. I’ve tried other sites like Bambuser, 12 seconds, and some other crap before settling on Qik. Let just admit first that while Qik is a nice site, it’s not feature rich and doesn’t officially support the iPhone 3G. So to get it to work I jailbroke my phone, and since I’ve committed to jailbreaking i might as well use the service.
Hey, I know it’s some messed up logic but never said I was in my right mind.

In the past few weeks I’ve been slowly making subtle changes to this site in the hopes that the creativity bug will bite and I’ll be able to ge back into writing more frequently again. It didn’t happen…
Well that’s not really true. I realized that the creativity never dissappeared, I was just expressive through other means ie Twitter, my creativity was being sucked away in 140 characters or less. Well now I’m trying to make a conscious effort to correct that. So here’s to it….

Since being an adult and coming into my own, I’ve pretty much heard that statement above and I have no qualms in agreeing with it. I am an asshole, and very unapologetic about being one. But while admitting that I can be pretty inconsiderate, pig headed, self absorb and very unconcerned with your feelings, I’m not that way intentionally.

So I make it no secret that I occasionally take the bus to get to work (actually 3 buses and a train) and while most people see this an act of insanity, I don’t mind the ride. One, its an free (my job pays a subsidy to ride the bus) and environmentally sound way to get to work, and two, its an opportunity to see both everything thats wrong with black America and everything thats right. But I can honestly say that when Chicago Transit Authority is working, it really works but when they’re late it can put a damper on getting where I need to be.
