I really wish I could explain what Google Wave is, what it does, or even how to use it, but I can’t. I have a lot of invites for Google Wave and I can’t even give them away.

This will probably be the last time I’ll bring it up, but I want to have fun trying to get rid of these invites. So here’s the deal, I’m willing to barter something for an invite but not just anything. I want some trivia, random X-Men trivia. Just leave it in the comments of this post and if its good, I’ll bounce you an invite.

1. Sienna Miller looks better as a brunette. So much better that I think she could have kept her man if she looked like the Baroness all the time.

2. I need to stop reading movie spoilers on Wikipedia. I knew the entire movie going in, and sat there anticipating specific scenes.

3. Kung fu fight scenes involving children made the movie for me. One kid even pulled a knife out on the other. Hot shit!

4. Technically GI Joe: The Movie was overall a better movie then this one. But you can accomplish so much more in animation then in live-action.

and 5. Snake Eyes mask reminded me of something… really can’t put my finger on it but…

Overall I was just pretty offended but the last line just set me off. I hold my letters and my brothers in high regard. I know that my people are not perfect. I firmly believe that my fraternity and especially my chapter works well is because we are all different types of men, who have come together to work and fellowship who genuinely like and respect each other. So why some may be somewhat effeminate in their mannerisms, they are also the strongest and bravest MEN I have ever met. So to hear that just flipped a switch in my head and I it came to me.

Recently I’ve been catching more and more of what my friend has said to me; like telling me he spends more time talking to my BF than I do, and how he hangs out with my BF. I believe that if it was anybody else, I would have put their head through a wall but I paid it no mind because is a mutual friend of me and the BF. And I’m not saying that I’m jealous or even suspicious of who my guy is friends with but after several times where I’ve made plans with the BF and only to be stood up so he can hang out with the friend, I’m just not comfortable with the entire situation. Time to re-evaluate the situation…

Spent all that money and you shipped a bunch of flowers that look like this.

I understand the context that yes, this is a social networking site i.e. networking in a online social environment. But doesn’t that sound like a big crock of shit? Can you truly have a honest to goodness social and networking experience online? Certainly online networking cannot hold a candle to events where interpersonal communication say like a company picnic or a dinner party. Maybe I’m comparing apples and oranges but tagging a picture of that funny face you made at the Christmas Party last year in someone’s online album wouldn’t have the same effect as showing off your photo album at the family barbecue and explaining that funny face. But I digress.

So to answer the from above; why am I on facebook? I really can’t. Blame the fact that I keep getting facebook invites from all my frat brothers and after the fifteenth one, I finally decided to accept, not really knowing what I was getting into. I know, I live on the edge. I really don’t have high expectations for this site or my profile. There’s a chance I could say ‘Fuck this!’ and delete it all next week. All I can say is that my name is Tony, and I’m on facebook.
