I agree … X-Men 3 wasn’t that bad – in fact I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel. It had what I go to these movies to see – ACTION. Being a Halle Berry / Storm fan, I was especially glad that Storm got more action in this movie (emotional and physical). Although I didn’t care for the haircut … I think X2 was closest to what I expected for the character.

That being said, I did think however that the story was a messy hodge-podge of themes, story arcs, icons and mutants lifted from the comics.

- The Sentinel used in the training room
- Angel
- Dark Pheonix
- Rogue
- The deaths of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Prof Xavier
- The return of Prof Xavier

There’s more but I cant think right now … its 2am. But point is this move was chock full of alot of things. Clearly we were trying to give everybody a story line and squeeze in as many mutants as possible – even if we didnt really have the time to fully utilize them. I enjoyed the movie tho … it had plenty action to keep me cheering.

i agree with all that you said. do you think there will be an x men 4? it did so well at the box office…i just wonder howl long they will keep up with the song and dance that this is the last x-men
