1. Work on Friday was so dull that I rushed home to find that out that there was a power outage on my block. I waited some 4 hours in the dark, so
NIPSCO could do there thing so I could something other then
listen to candles flicker.
2. While tossing and turning that night, (was too hot to sleep and no power for fans) I started to “handle some business” and while I was a few good strokes from “
Turning Japanese” I get a major cramp in my right calf.
3. While you’re wondering why would I masturbate during a power outage, I ask you what else can you do at 3 in the morning and no power?
4. Once the power was on, I did some work for the
Kappa Psi Kappa website. They recently asked me to rejoin the group, so this is my gift to them.
5. Saturday I went food shopping and in the first time in weeks my cubboard is not bare. I cooked dinner and was suppose to have some company but ended up watching Inyasha and having a few
Drunk Tonys.
6. Roughly around 11pm
Bernard hit me, asking if I wanna to go to
SPIN since they were having a reggae night.
7. He didn’t need to ask twice, since trying to find parking on the Northside of
Chicago was a definite improvement to what I was doing.
8. Within an hour I had picked up Bernard, hopped on Lake Shore Drive and made it to Belmont and Halsted.
9. I actually danced sober, but was fully aware of the constant elbowing in my back and water dripping on my head on SPIN’s small dance floor.
10. As SPIN was closing up, Bernard and myself heading down to the Generator and proceeded to dance and mingle. I ran into the ex of my ex (who’s actually trying to talk to me) some random hook ups from the past and a college professor from my school.
11. I had a flashback of seeing that same professor in the gym showers, my reaction was the pretty much the sameone I gave
This Man.
12. So after a night of clubbing and a timely omlet from
Huck Finn’s, I dropped
B off at home and somehow found my bed around 7:30am Sunday.

…I enjoy every second of it.
Short story, I was driving to Oak Brook Illinois to take my sick Mac mini to the Apple store and at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. My mac crapped out on my last night and would wake up from the screen saver. While I had my powerbook, I become so accustomed to my mini. After getting little help over the phone with Apple support, I jump in the car and sit in gridlock on Interstate 294. Essentially the combination of heat, no AC, stagnate traffic, a broken computer and a piece of ass that wouldn’t go away (long story for another day) had made me a very irritable, asshole.
Before I go further, I would like to say to the bald headed owner of a Ford F-150 and Illinois license plates “SIMONJR,” I’m going to find you and do evil shit to you and your family.
Anyway, I’m zooming up I-294, to get to the mall so I could see if there’s any chance to save my baby. But each time I make some leeway, so prick jumps in front of me just to brake. I think I need to a gun or something.
By the way, the issue with my mac was a quick fix, either when my mini was built or maybe from the robbery, the memory module came loose and eventually came out. All they did was pop it back in and tested to see if it came on.

Yes, I actually went to a comic book convention, even though I went alone I had a good time. I got some good deals, met some writers and artists and met Sinro. Pictures are located in Flickr. Here’s a brief rundown of my Saturday at Wizard World Chicago.

I got tagged by Kristin
The rules:
List ten songs that you are currently digging…it doesn’t matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they’re no good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying right now. Post these instructions, the artists, and the ten songs in your blog. Then tag five other people to see what they’re listening to.
