Nintendo Revolution

Nintendo’s new game console, code named Revolution, is pictured in this undated publicity photograph. The console was displayed during a media briefing in Hollywood May 17, 2005. Due in 2006, the new console will be backward compatible with Nintendo GameCube and also will have downloadable access to 20 years of game titles originally released for other Nintendo game systems. The announcement came as gamers from around the world are in Los Angeles for the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3.)


Gameboy Micro

Nintendo’s new handheld game console, Game Boy Micro, is displayed during a media briefing in Hollywood, May 17, 2005. The Game Boy Micro weighs 2.8 ounces and features a removable face plate so owners can customize the look of the device. Backwards compatiability is all good and what not, but I’m still saving up for one of these, but my mommy says if I behave she’ll get me one for Christmas.
